Visit Pontedera is an independent editorial project (it is not the official website of the Comune di Pontedera): we gather in one place practical information on what to see, where to stay, where to eat and what to do in Pontedera and around, to help Italian and international travellers plan their visit.
Our mission
To showcase an often-underrated area: the home of the Vespa, the villages of the Valdera and a strategic location at the heart of Tuscany, a stone's throw from Pisa, Lucca, Volterra and Florence. The information is curated and updated periodically; if you find anything no longer correct, let us know.
